We did a test on a water storage tank on ground level and they were blasting the floor, we ran two nozzles with the same pot same abrasive, one on a conventional deadman and the other on the BAABS. We put counters on each outlet so we knew how many on/offs that the blasters were cycling during the two days worth of blast. At the conclusion of the test, it was staggering how many on/offs the conventional deadman went through over 2100 times and on the BAABS it was only 700. The point is the comfort of the BAABS, the blaster does not need to release near as often as a conventional deadman. The BAABS covered 20% more floor per time than the conventional deadman.
